Literature Review; The Effect of Buerger Allen Exercise on Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) Values in Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 Patients; Literature Review

Introduction: Patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 tend to have ABI values lower than the normal range due lack of physical exercise and uncontrolled hyperglycemia. This needs be prevented through joint movement exercises Buerger Allen which can increase blood perfusion in extremities so that there is an value ankle-brachial index (ABI). Objective: study aims determine effect on (ABI) patients based a review research journals. Methods: uses literature method. Search using 5 databases, namely Portal Garuda, Sinta, ProQuest, Scopus, Google Scholar keywords according MeSH, "Buerger Exercise", "Ankle Brachial Index", "Diabetes Type 2".
